Welsummer hens

I have two hens that look identical. However, one of the hens seems to think she is a rooster. I believe I am only getting eggs from one of them, although It is hard to tell because of the different breeds we have. I did notice the one Welsummer hen making a strange noise that only a chicken owner could describe as a rooster first learning to crow. It is monotone and nothing like any hen I have heard. I have bought pullets before that were missexed, but this is a chicken with NO appearance of a rooster. Any thoughts?

Hens can crow. It isn't as unusual as you would think.

Some of my hens make kind of a growling crow noise, especially when sitting on eggs.
