Welsummer Sexing?

My four month old girl doesn't look at all like what I see in pictures of Welsummer hens, but as a chick she was dead on with dark eyeliner and stripes. And now her comb and jowls are getting plump and red. Is this a result of bad hatchery breeding, an increase in hormones, or is she actually a rooster?

She's in the back. This was a couple of weeks ago and you can't see her very well, so I'll get another picture tomorrow. Her legs are bright yellow, if that helps.

From what I can see of her as a chick, she does resemble a Welsummer.

In the 2nd picture, are you referring to the brown pullet in the back, because it is the one perched on the chair that most resembles a Welsummer (other than the dark head coloring).

The brown pullet is the one in question. The ones on the chair and in front are EEs.

So are you talking about the one in the back?? If so, it must be a bad angle/lighting because the one in the back looks like a rir or red star. Can you post another pic?

I agree the one in back looks like a RIR or ? Really it is best if ONLY one chicken is in each picture, you can see them everyday but, the only glimpse we have is from a photo.

Yes, I'm sorry for the bad picture. It was night and it would have been silly for me to go out and try to get another picture. I'll add one after school.
