Some lines can be accurately sexed as young chicks. Hatcheries do not carefully maintain their lines for autosexing. Females are supposed to have clear dark eyeliner. If these are from a really good breeder, the 2 up front are male.

These are from hatched eggs. The chick in back is a Crested Cream Legbar (probably pullet based on markings). The Welsummers eggs came from a nearby breeder, so I don't know about the lines. The V on the one head made me guess girl, but the overall fuzziness of the lines makes me think boys too. All four that hatched have fuzzy dark brown, not black, near/around the eyes, so that makes me think they aren't an autosexing line.

Then you're just going to have to wait and see how they feather in. If they get black feathers on their chest, they're male.
