Went boating and found this

From my house, I have seen about a half-dozen eagles all at once. I do not dare let my birds free range. They have more than enough room, and I would prefer that they weren't killed by a bird that is, at least in Alaska, a pest.

We have those here- they're known to nest on the lake and river. There's some sort of distance we're supposed to remain away from the nest by Federal law, but I can't remember what it is. I know how giant the nest is from my own experience, and the pics can't convey it- HUGE!
