Went to feed snack and some leftovers to chickens today...

I had to put this on here before I logged off to cook supper. I went to feed our chickens some leftovers and a snack mid morning today and one red star ran out of the coop from the nesting box picked up a piece of food and ran back in the coop. well it happened so fast i did not know what all went on. so i am going about my business giving them the snacks and then go into the coop to check nesting boxes because everyone seemed to be outside eating. well there was the red star with food hanging out of her mouth and she was in the nesting box with two eggs below her not sitting on them. so i reach in to take them because i have never seen them do that before. well right after i get them she "squats down" some does not even sit all the way down and DROPS a egg!!! lol!! it was so hillarious!!!

i had never seen that one!

I have RIR's, Black Stars and Red stars so hopefully I will catch one some time or another. Glad you could do that.
