Went to our first poultry show.

Our birds may be healthy but they are cruddy quality compared to the show birds. Our orps are nothing like they show look, even their color is much to light. The Wyandottes are eat least the right color. OUr dutch banties are obviously some kind of cross breeds. Oh well, they are good layers and nice pets.

Have you got the showing bug now?

After I went to my first poultry show. I became very interested in showing. (Its another excuse to get more chickens too)

Yeah, I used to show dogs and my husband and I are accreditted camellia judges. We decided we could have done well if we'd shown our campbell ducks yesterday.

We're getting japanese bantams next week. We'll see how well they turn out.

I loved attending my first show last month.
After looking at my LF brahmas all day, every day it's pretty funny to see all those banties.
