Went to the feed store for a bale of hay,

and came home with four silkie chicks. SMH. I'm not allowed to go to the feed store by myself anymore. I just put the Americaunas outside this week, too.

You sound like my mom When I was still in school I knew I'd need her to run to the feed store eventually. The second time I asked, she came back with our white silkie Fluffy.

Same thing happened to me too. Went in for some new wood chips and came home with 12 baby chicks.

I went for oyster shell and came home with 8 chicks...just awful-no self control. On a positive note I didn't forget the oyster shell.

Went in for feed and somehow managed to walk away from the adorable bantams. however last weeks trip resulted in 6 ducklings.

I'm glad my feed store didn't have ducklings yet. I would have brought those home, too. I'm supposed to be saving up for quail. Shh... don't tell my husband.
