Yeah, we're at our very UGLIEST and mommy puts our pictures up for the entire universe to see! (We'll get our revenge - I think she has a deck that we'll be liberally pooing on someday...)

my 1 Ameraucana is also a roo .. I suspected because of the little red comb trying to show up .. and speckled hen confirmed this for me over the weekend.

Just like my rabbits .. I always end up with too many bucks .. they are prettier and have better personalities anyway.. lol

SF roos are so ugly at that stage!

I thought my two SF roos were some kind of horrible mutants at that age, because the pullets were always cute but the roos looked like they had the mange

They are FINALLY starting to look like roos.

Thanks for sharing the pics, it brought back so many memories...mainly of my grandmother (who raised chickens for 50+ years) saying "THOSE are chickens?!?", when she first saw the boys.

Funny! I didn't think they would EVER feather .. I was hiding them in our apartment waiting for them to feather so I could put them outside ...
