If your in the western part of the country join the POPWA(Prarie Ornamental Pheasant and Waterfowl Association). Mandies are one of the most common kept ornamentals so there are quite a few breeders listed with them(last time I checked around 20 or so spread amongst 3 provinces).
Find a breeder now and get put on the list for the fall, they sell out fast.

Or try your luck at the Innisfail odd and unusual sale in october if you are located in AB, always mandies and wood ducks there, but be prepared to pay like double they are worth there tho, the crowd is insane with spending money on them birds. Bidding turns to madness.
