We're looking for our first chickens...

You are very welcome!

I'd like to meet you too. We keep talking about doing a Middle TN meet up. We just haven't gotten organized yet.

If you are still looking in a few weeks, drop me a PM. My amerauacana babies are still too young to sex. I should have a few blue and black girls available then. If you would like black ameraucanas, Hbeuler has some right now that are from really good, quality lines. Black ameraucanas are GORGEOUS!!!

We had an awesome visit with HBuehler today. She and her family answered all of our questions and showed their beautiful, healthy and oh so happy birds to us...We are both thrilled to have met someone who is such a wealth of knowledge and who lives only 20 miles from us!:

Our starting number of 5 also seems to be inching up since today's visit!

My girls from HBuehler are here!! We have 4 Barred Rock pullets who are into everything and all over us!! We also have 2 Wheaten Ams & 2 Silver Ams. The Ameracaunas seem to have more of a regal air to them. They are always posed beautifully and just majestic!
This morning my hubby and I drank coffee and ate our breakfast out in the chicken's yard with them. And they were happy to entertain us, and share our fresh fruit!! They are absolutely lovely and beautiful....
It has taken us almost 3 years to get our birds..I am glad that I took my time researching and learning and finding responsible dedicated breeders to work with. It has made this experience nothing short of wonderful!!!
Of course, I have to give HBuehler tons of credit for spending so much time answering our questions and sharing her knowledge with us! She is an amazing woman. I hope to meet more of you very soon!! My next adventure will begin in late October when our day old Lemon Blue Cochins arrive!!! I can't hardly wait!!!
My girls are still too young to lay, but we are really enjoying them as part of our family!!
