How pretty! We wont be keeping any of these sadly
we're giving them to my friend. She gave us the eggs and let us borrow her incubator and we're already over the limit for chickens where i live.

me and my mom candled the eggs a few minutes ago and out of the 15 eggs left(we put in ten more eggs a week after the first batch so two batches one week apart) 5 of the eggs that were supposed to hatch yesterday look deadno movement whatsoever. And the others... two are for sure alive and two are possibly alive. So 6 of the newer batch are dead.
Maybe you will get a few. And, why not sell the older hens, one or two, and keep one of the white chicks? I rotate, often. I live in city limits, and only keep my girls for a season usually, except for a couple of favorite girls.
