we're supposed to be pullets, but what breeds are we?

The first one is a gold laced wyandotte.

I think the first one is silver laced Wyandotte, to light for GLW.

Not a Wyandotte. Pic of SLW and GLW side by side

Here's a shot of my buttercup pullets when they were itty bitties:

Sorry the pics aren't very clear.

what I see on the two, it like two itty bitty straight-combs on each side of the beak, theres a "line" inbetween them, and they kinda look like they meet in the back, they don't look like they quite yet, still lil baby combs.

With the descrition of the comb, it sounds like a buttercup, but my first thought was golden campine, but the legs dont look dark enough for those either.

This is my guess:

#1 Buttercup - I have three and that is what they looked like as babies.
#2 Mottled Cochin Bantam (?) I have three that are about three weeks old now and they look a lot like chick #2.

Keep us posted...have fun!

Is the line in between sort of a ridge? Or is it almost like three little ridges?

Or are the two combs distinct, with a space between?

If it's like three ridges, it's a pea comb, and it's an EE.

while a mottled cochin would be AWSEOME, something else I've wanted.

the black/white ones are standards, and don't have feathered feet

from what I can tell, on both of them, the combs look like two combs with a space inbetween, and sort of, hook together at the back.

You've got Buttercup Madness!!!

I recommend you handle those little things regularly for long periods each day. They're extra-super-good at flying and are particularly skittish if not socialized to humans very well. They have the most amazing sounds when they get past the shrieky stage, and make little chuckling noises. They are good layers and very sweet.

Congrats!
