Thanks everyone for the welcomes! I found a 2 year old Welsummer rooster here in town. I’m going to check him out Monday. The family said he does fine with their children and their other roosters. If he seems fairly chill, I’ll bring him home and quarantine him for a couple weeks, then I’ll use the “see, but no touch” with the flock to see how they all do.

I've had a Welsummer rooster and he was a good guy...hope you have the same luck!
