I am building a coop and am concerned about ventilation/ moisture. as you may know it rains like the dickens here so i want some input. my design has two 1ftx2 or 3ft vent doors. what might be helpful for allowing airflow but no moisture to seep in? thanks for the help!

sounds like you have enough ventilation, since it also doesnt get very hot. i have a 4' long continuous 2" gap at the top eave of a shed style roof for permanent ventilation and below it i put in a 4' x ~12" hinged section of wall that swings down for extra ventilation during the warm months. the larger opening is filled with 1/2" hardware cloth. i located it in the wall inside the enclosed run to add an extra measure of protection since its a little more vulnerable than the wood sided walls.

moisture protection: use exterior grade sealant on all seams and penetrations, make sure roofing is installed properly, and allow for overhang to extend the drip edge and help block some of the rain.

Your coop looks AMAZING! Great job
