Poor thing looked crippled to me.

you mean how they keep their back sloped?

Yes!

All the people that I know that have working shepards, use dogs with a squarer frame, the sloping line has made those dogs useless for what they're supposed to do - work!

My breed won't be accepted until June of this year so I'm looking forward to seeing them in the ring soon.

I agree that the squarer frame makes for a dog that looks like he can work, like he's suppose to.
What breed are you interested in?

I'm interested in the Cane (kah-nay)Corso. I've currently got 4, but have had 5 total. I've been involved with the breed since 1998. Used to be a board member, but now just help in rescue when I can. I was more interested in training the dogs then dealing with the politics. I was one of the founding people of the working committee and encourageing people to do more than just show their dogs. Working dogs, need to work!

If petting a dog adds years to your life, then working one will add life to those years!

That sure is a beautiful breed! I've always admired that dog but I had a few Danes instead. They were hard to find and very expensive.
Here's one I just pulled off the net:

If I'm not mistaken the clumber spaniel should be in the sporting group; the saint and the mastiff in the working group. I like clumbers too

I love cane corso's. I love any large dog, with the exception of chows but then they are considered a medium sized dog, right?
