Hoping your chickens are doing well, Kathy.

Does anyone have any 'pus and gore' pics to share?

Almost all of my chickens have made complete recoveries from pox, but a few still have secondary infections that I need to treat and a couple of those will have probably be good candidates for 'pus and gore' pictures, lol. Plus, I still have that other hen in the fridge and I really do need to open her up and try to figure out what killed her.

She's at the back of the fridge where stuff has a tendency to almost freeze, so no, no smell.

Wow! What a informative thread! I have a hen that has stuff on her face, but it is looking different than the dry fowl pox. They look like little black dots, no swelling, and she seems to be acting fine, so far. I might be able to upload some pics later...

No. They almost look like they are scabs from pecking, but they are almost in designs and there is no white or pale spots or anything. She also has a dark dried liquid, that either looks like blood or tar, just above her eyebrows.
