Wet chickens

Hi it's raining here and my chickens are getting wet is this ok? Thanks

Chickens are dumb. They will stand in the rain, with head under a bush and their bodies sticking out, even though there is room for their whole body. I've seen them walking to their coops as the rain starts, then when it starts to rain really hard, they stop 20 ft in front of their covered run. Figure that one out. Yes it will be fine they will dry.

My chickens love rain - means more bugs! They'll head for the coop or the shelters when it starts coming down hard, but light rain? They're out in it.

Two of my chickens love water. I spray them with a light mist twice a day when its hot. The other lady runs under the coop... she's not interested.

mine stand in the rain drenched to the bone... they can go in the coop anytime they like... it's never affected them.

I live in the pacific northwest, my birds spend a lot of time in the rain. They have a choice to go in or out always, but usually prefer out unless it's a real downpour.
