I have been incubating/hatching in the same forced air incubator. Everything has been going smoothly. This time I had Colombian Wyandottes incubating and was given fertilized turkey eggs. I added them to the incubator. For lock down, I moved the Wyandottes to a Little Giant still air incubator. So far, 9 out of 14 hatched. 2 more are pipped. After 24 hours, none of the chicks have dried/fluffed up. I filled the trays and added a wet sponge at lock down. Was my humidity too high or did the still air incubator effect them drying off? The installed and added hygrometers were reading 65-72%. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
