Wet dog food-update.

I'd try freezing it. Seems like it would work just fine. I make up little baggies of stuff for our dog and he loves it.

You could really save money by eating dog food too. Out of the same bag. Then, you don't have to go grocery shopping, just buy dog food. I heard it's not bad. I've even eaten a bag (shared with a friend) of Kibbles n Bits! It was pretty good, we finished the whole bag. I have eaten 1/2 can of Giant brand too, but that was for money! Lol!

I say use it!!! A dog will eat mushy dog food. SCoop out the wet stuff and let it dry out!

I say definitely freeze it! I went and did some research on freezing dog food and most of the discussions were about nutrition loss. But, this is a one time thing(right?

). I really don't think it would lose enough nutrition to hurt anything!

And I'm with you on the buying large amounts of animal foods and ramen noodles and hot dogs for yourself! Lol.

Feed it to your chickens. Mine love wet dog food. Of course, if you don't have very many chickens they can't eat it all in one day so the freezing option sounds great. That way, it can be fed to the dogs and/or the chickens each day. The chickens would probably enjoy the frozen treats each day and it will help them cool off.
