Wet environment and diarrhea

So, we’ve been having a lot of rain recently, and then Milton hit and flooded everything. The chickens runs and a lot of their free range area has been flooded since last Wednesday, so they’ve been free ranging all day every day since then. For the past couple of days I’ve been noticing wetter poops, some that are very watery. Could the wet environment cause this? They’ve been drinking the stagnant water, eating soaked dirt. Literally everything is soaked and I can’t do anything but wait for it to dry out.

Could you put out planks/boards over some of the worst areas for them to walk on?

Maybe get them all on vitamins and probiotics to help them fight off the bacteria and anything else they may be consuming. I suppose it's hard to get them to drink from your water receptacle when there are all those puddles. Could you perhaps keep them locked in the coop in the morning with your medicinal waterer? That way at least they'd get a boost before they go out to venture in the muck.

So today the runs were dry enough to keep them in for a few hours, so they only had only the water I gave them (the runs have no puddles anymore, only mud). They’ve been getting probiotics in their feed and some egg with a drop or two of oil of oregano just in case. I also just discovered four of them have fowlpox (dry at the moment) 🙄 because the mosquitos have been breeding like crazy in the still water. I just ordered the vaccine to give to the ones who have no lesions. I really can’t catch a break this summer, between worms and cocci and now fowlpox!
