My almost 2yr old duck was in my pond and couldn't get out. When I went to her all her feathers were soaked and she was shivering. I am guessing after doing research it is wet feather but she also has these weird red Mark's on her beak. Any thoughts?

Was she frozen in the pond? Its probably due to being in the water too long. How is she doing now?

So monday I found her in our pond(manmade and not very big) and she couldn't get out was waterlogged and shivering. The water was not frozen and I lock them all up at night. I am a teacher so not sure how long she was in there. I got her out brought her inside and put her in my tub. I dried her off with a blow dryer. The next day she did the same thing. I am not letting her out of her pen today. Both times after I dried her off she seemed fine.they only thing was the beak picture. Could that be from the cold. Water was freezing but not frozen over.

Well it's not really wet feather. It's probably water logging. Which she should not be allowed in the pond if she can't get out. So, good idea keeping her penned today. I do so for awhile just so she can get back on track.

Awwwww, what an adorable peep!

I found a helpful article here: https://www.hobbyfarms.com/how-to-treat-wet-feather-in-ducks/#:~:text=Place the duck in a,too close and cause burns.

The article mentions over-preening, which could perhaps cause the redness on her beak...?
Hi and welcome. It's actually not a good idea to wash the whole duck with dish washing soap, but if needed you can wash the preening gland.
I first try just a warm cloth to dislodge any dirt and debris. Then, if need a little soapy water on the preening gland only.
As well, the duck would need to be kept out of water sources until the wet feather has resolved.
The feathers might not look as nice until they molt again, but the water should bead up on the feathers once the oil gland is in working condition.
