And you might hear or see “BBM” a lot… bully breed mix. Or could also be mutt I guess.

and then like a quarter Lab and quarter hound (2 types of hound) so yeah.
Was NOT expecting the hound. Just figured pit/lab or actually we were told boxer/lab which he technically does have both in him LOL but I don’t think anybody can really say one way or the other especially when they’re little. It’s so hard to guess. Unless they saw one or both parents which they might have because I think he was born in a foster home but still. Even then, looks alone don’t always tell you LOL like the hidden hound in him.
but he just looked like a Lab when he was really little and then one day he looked like a pit LOL no turning back after that.
Anyways, I usually can tell a BBM pretty dang fast. Like if I’m looking at Petfinder or a rescue’s FB page or something… I can spot them SO fast LOL and sometimes, they correctly label them as like “pit mix” or “BBM” but lately I’ve been seeing a lot of BBMs being disguised as “Labs” or just “terriers” and it makes me mad because people NEED to be properly prepared and educated to own these breeds IMO and it’s doing them a disservice. Especially if someone has breed restrictions on their house insurance or they’re renting and they try to say that a clear bully mix is a LAB and then the company or landlord or whatever is immediately like yeah… that looks like a pit bull… and either denies them insurance or tries to evict them or whatever. And then they have to return the poor dog to the shelter/rescue where they might eventually just be put down… it’s setting everybody up for failure and it pisses me off LOL
