Is it okay to cover the whole bottom grate with wet paper towels? I figured this would reduce clean up and boost humidity. But I'm not sure if the eggs can lay on wet paper towels during lock down.

I use the rubber shelf liner from the dollar store and after hatch I just throw it away. A nice wet sponge in the bator does wonders for humidity. (At least it does for me.)

Someone had told me to use cheesecloth... sounded good but was a pain in the rear.
