Wet run

My chicken run is wet due to Oregon rain. I tried to cover with tarp but it's still wet and it makes the coop wet too. I am thinking of getting some sand to make the run less wet. I wonder if this sand from Lowes is good? Any other option?

It would probably work. Buying enough to add a couple of inches to a run would be alot cheaper bought in bulk. You might have a little more work spreading it but could save a bunch of money.

There is a place near me that sells stones, statues and landscaping stuff. Might try looking up any of those in your area.
