Wet the starter or not to wet?

my chickens love wet food.If they don't eat it up,i always smell to make sure its not sour.

I wet the powdery stuff since they don't like it.Just enough to make it crumbly. They eat the dry crumbles just fine.

It is entirely a choice to dampen the feed or not.

I never wet mine. It will grow mold and bacteria VERY fast. They will eat it dry. They wont starve. I hatch chicks all the time and never have wetted the starter.
