Hello, where I am we are having bad weather. It's raining constantly. A few nights ago when it first started to rain their coop actually Flooded! We had to put newspaper down in the bathtub that night. We have waterproofed the coop so they aren't getting wet but we have noticed they are getting a bit cold. We have a lot of wood shavings in there and eachother to keep warm. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing and if they have what can I do to help them.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
I bought a bag a Pelletized Bedding, which I just scattered dry. (The instructions tell you to wet it before use-- I did not) The pellets absorbed the excess moisture and it worked well here. You want to keep the bedding as dry as possible.
