We've been incubating eggs from our BR flock and selling the chicks

    but will have many cockerel chicks left that we plan to process for meat. What is the best age to process Barred Rocks? Thanks.

    I asked exactly this question, as I have a feathered zebra of my own I'm planning to eat, and I was told 12-14 weeks.

    Yeah 14 weeks or whenever he seems big enough for a meal. After 16 weeks they start getting tough.
