  1. but will have many cockerel chicks left that we plan to process for meat. What is the best age to process Barred Rocks? Thanks.

    I asked exactly this question, as I have a feathered zebra of my own I'm planning to eat, and I was told 12-14 weeks.

    Yeah 14 weeks or whenever he seems big enough for a meal. After 16 weeks they start getting tough.
