We've changed bedding from shavings to straw and my guineas won't leave the coop now.

They usually wait at the door and can't wait to go into the run. They are 9 weeks old. What's happening?
 
Is it straw or hay you switched you? If it is have it may be that they are content with eating the hay.
I have not experience this behavior personally.
