Today our bantam barred rocks started hatching. We're currently up to five babies with two more pipped and one more that we're hoping will still hatch! I meant to get eggs from Pinenot, but it turns out Alyssa thought SHE was supposed to be finding a barred rock breeder and I thought that I was supposed to, and she found out the bator started working before me (its currently at her house) and so she went ahead and ordered some from some other guy, but his stock is nice too, but I'd still like to get some eggies from Pinenot in the future!

Anyway, onto the pictures! I'll take individual pictures so we can get help sexing them in about a day or two when they are more fluffy and all that will hatch have done so, so for now here are group photos!

Very cute! I can't resist the pictures of baby chicks. And I've had so much fun sharing them with my granddaughter. We will hopefully have some hatching in April.

So it looks like all of them are going to hatch? That's a pretty good hatch rate (even if the one doesn't) must be your a good momma. [IMG]

Quote:Well we had twelve to start with, but all the ones that began developing continued to up until this point, so that's good! I haven't heard from Alyssa (silkieluvr) this morning, so I'm not sure if the others have hatched yet.

Kanchii- It is OK! I am not offended. It you need some from a different line in the future for breeding, you can let me know. I use different lines all the time to get what I need in my breeds. I could use a new roo in the future, PM me and let me know who you got your roo from [IMG] Right now, they are making beautiful babies, but he is also getting older....

I LOVE BR babies!! They're so cute!!!
