the only thing I can figure out is that they may be getting under some beach chairs to dust & the ground has pea gravel in it. I am going to remove the chairs. I also have some lattice work that is laying flat about 16-18" above ground that they get under to dust. I have been thinking about making a more defined area with good dirt (instead of mixed with pea gravel). I gues that is moving to the top of the list.

Sunny has seen my coop and run and knows that it is kept really clean but with the snow and resulting ice may have contributed to them scraping under the chairs.

No new landscaping....

IDK - I don't see any lice or mites....That was my first thought...
