I like all chicken breeds. Just not a fan of Production Hybrids, or solid white colored chickens.

Hmm, hard question. If I were to get one breed to breed and raise I'd get back into buckeyes. Personally I like more colored eggs and flasher plumage. But buckeye are good solid birds and the personalities are unbeatable.

But I also have always had a soft spot for orpingtons. And they come in so many gorgeous colors and patterns!

If I had to choose one breed right now it would probably be the Plymouth Rock.
