Does Anyone have any explanation as to why Milo is doing this? His wing is also hanging. He doesn’t have bumble foot or any issues with his foot. I noticed last week that his wing was not moving when he went to flap them both. I caught him and noticed there was excessive long very hard quills with no feathers on both sides. I trimmed them back and thought maybe that was part of the problem..nope. Him shaking his leg is now continuous. He is eating and drinking normally, can jump up on a roosting platform with no issues. His eyes are clear and he is acting normal in every other way. His wing doesn’t appear broke.Could have his pulled a tendon? I am at a loss . The nearest avian vet is over 2 hours away. Vets here are clueless when it comes to birds. Has anyone seen this before? Do birds have strokes?

No. We have looked several times. It’s so odd that he is unable to use his wing also.

The leg shaking seems to have stopped this morning. The wing is still hanging tho.

I'm so sorry that this happened. Keep everyone posted about your experience if you can. I've never even read of anything like this before.

have you taken a look at his foot up close? maybe he has a thorn or something, is it sore or red? I recently had a rooster who was hopping on one of his feet, he broke a blood feather and so i put some styptic powder on it and it healed over time. i'm not sure about the wing, my first thought is that roosters stretch their wing out and stumble around hens to try and impress them. but they don't keep a wing down all the time so if that's the case than it certainly is strange. the quills on his wing seem to be common in frizzles so i wouldn't worry about that, both my frizzles have/had quills like that on their wings.
