What’s going on ?

So I have a starlet green egger rooster and a sapphire gem rooster that were raised together they are just about 5 months old now neither of them were crowing but that was because there were older more dominant but now they I’ve moved them the green egger rooster is crowing but the sapphire gem still is not why ?

When 2 or more roos live together only one will crow (in my experience) the dominant one will crow. It sounds like your Starlight Green Egger rooster has taken on that role.

Two reasons, he is young and not the dominant rooster. Eventually he will crow as he gets older, but if he remains less dominant he might not crow as much as the one that is currently crowing.

Hopefully after a few little fights one will stay less dominant.

I had 3 at one point that were raised together. Once they knew their place they got along fine. Although the last place rooster was not allowed to crow. He got in trouble from the senior and 2nd place boy so he stayed very quiet.
