What’s one thing you wish you had known before starting to raise backyard poultry?

Mine is that I have chick fever!!!:barnie:lau

I want to hear yours!
im going to be completely honest me and my parents have been raising chickens since i was little but this past year was the first weve dealt with cocciccidiosis in our chickens. weve never had it before and we didint know what it was and sadly took 10 but we learned from the experience. rest in peace babies. and no need to apologize im not sad anymore its a little bittersuite to look back at the videos i took of bunny the chicks when they were younger. and im incredibly gratefull for the time we shared. even if it was shortlived.

I really hate those small coops. If I could I'd give them a nice big acre.
i dont think youd need that much room im not totally sure how big our coop is but its BIG how many chickens do yall think i could fit in here
