Our EE started laying almost a month ago. Started out with these teeny tiny robin egg sized eggs then suddenly they got large and oblong in shape! Three now with the oblong shape and all three have this weird rippling on the narrow end. It almost seems a little soft just on the end.
When we crack the eggs to eat, they all have a greenish colored piece of “rice” in them.
Any ideas what the rippling end or “rice” could be??

Some birds do lay eggs like this, and it's generally fine. One of my older hens produces these often, and isn't ill or having any real issues. Some pullets produce 'funky' eggs at first too. If your bird's diet is good, and there's no illness, don't worry about it.
