Why have all of my chickens started laying eggs in the coop rather than the nesting boxes??

Did you change something in the boxes? Where they laying there before?
Maybe try putting golf balls in the nests.

Ruffle through the bedding in the nextboxes to make sure there are no pests or vermin in there disturbing them.

Photos are often helpful. Sometimes you just see things or at least it can hep you understand. Looking forward to those.

Were your chickens previously laying in the nests and just recently all switched to laying on the coop floor or are these pullets just starting to lay that won't use your nests? That's two different things. How many chickens are you talking about, how old are they, and how long has this been going on? Do you use fake eggs? Some back story could help.

Probably not in this situation but often knowing your general location can help in a lot of things other than just your general climate or what side of the equator you are on. If you modify your profile that info will always be available.
