I have a golden comet and her eggs that she has been laying are a little flat and her she’ll is fragile. This morning went to collect and I got one that has some kind of gunk on it. Can anyone tell me what is going on? Here is a picture of her egg.

Looks like calcium buildup. The flat side is called Slab-sided eggs.
What do you feed including treats?
Oyster shell free choice?
How old is she?

Check her over for lice/mites and if possible get a fecal float to check for worms too.
Observe to see if she's being stressed/bullied.
Cause could just be a glitch if she's a new layer, shell gland disorder or a number of things.

She is about a year old. Her scraps/ treats are certain veggies, scratch feed, oyster shells once a week. She has been laying every day and she seems, acts perfectly normal. Her poo is fine and no mites. She doesn’t like to roost at night she’d rather be in a nesting box, which gets cleaned every day.

I would make oyster shell available free choice.
If she's not free ranging and she's getting a lot of scraps/treats, then I would cut down on those to around 10-15% daily intake. If any of those certain veggies are kale/spinach, etc. but those out or limit those to once a week.

Not roosting at night - does she feel heavy in her bottom/abdomen below the vent between her legs?

It can be hard to nail down egg quality issues at times - whether diet/environment needs to be tweaked a bit, whether the bird is starting to show some reproductive issues or if it's just a genetic defect. Sometimes all you can do is make some small slight changes and see if anything improves.

I do let my flock free rang. They don’t get spinach or kale. I can give them more oyster shells as you suggested. I’ll definitely keep an eye open. Thank you so much for your input, much appreciated.
