Let my girls out to free range for a bit today and noticed Blanche is missing feathers on her head. There is also a yellow tint to her neck feathers. Anyone know what might be wrong with her? She’s behaving as normal…

I was wondering if that might be it as I didn’t see any sign of mites. He’s a little fella, our roo, but I guess he has more game than I thought! Was so worried she had an infection of some sort!

I believe it may be from him pulling her feathers when he mounts her. Wow! She sounds like my kind of hen! I’m sorry but that picture of her putting him in his place is hilarious. I need hens like her
