Definitely Fowl Pox. Treat it with some Veterycin and it should help. Watch your other flock members too, as its contagious.

Vetericyn will not dry up Fowl Pox.

Often it's best just to leave the lesions alone unless there's complications. Then paint the lesions with Iodine taking care not to disturb the scabs.
 
Thanks for the advice. I hope it doesn’t get much worse and keep spreading. It’s probably very uncomfortable. She came over to me and laid down, resting her head on my legs while I took those pictures.
Should I vaccinate my 5 week old true blue chicks? They are around the marans a lot already.
Will the virus keep appearing on birds once they’ve recovered?

She was looking a little better today. It didn’t look as raw and red as yesterday.
