What A Day!!!

It was absolutely beautiful today, 60's, very little wind, and lots of sunshine.
I spent my whole day cleaning up my yard.
I raked the leaves, clean out around my boxwoods, cut over the weeds and leaves and got up all the trash.

I am exhausted, but it feels good to finally be able to get outside and do something productive!!!!

Sounds like you had a good day outside Tammy!! I spent alot of the day outdoors too, raking some, letting my little hooligan chickens scratch around the pine straw against my fence (yes, I had to rake it all back!!). I Planted all my morning glory and trumpet vine seeds. Pulled some weeds and put those in my compost barrel. Yesterday I cut my grapevine back and twisted the branches into two nice wreaths..think I'll decorate them and save them for Christmas!!

I also raked while I let my 8 week old pullet out in the yard for awhile.
They are alot of fun to watch as they fly and run around in circles, dust bathe and forage.

They sure are cute at 8 weeks! They still teeter when they scratch around, like they might fall over!

Seems this warmer weather is luring everybody outside.

I am tired, but I actually feel good!!

I can't wait til tomorrow.....it's suppose to be 70's.....HMMMM! wonder what I can do?
