Today I was blowing eggs in the kitchen, I hear a pretty loud crack in the back of the house. I didn't think much about it, usually when we hear a crack the american bulldog has knocked something over or the cat has. I went on with what I was doing and I went into the bathroom to get the tweezers and the candle we had burning and completely blew up!!! It just blew up by itself, but I don't know how. It burned part of the counter top in our bathroom, and left plenty of wax to clean up. I put the glass in a bag and took it to the burn pit just in case it decided to burn again. I was just thanking God that it didn't catch the house on fire. One incident over.
I went to the chicken coop and one of my polish hens, who seems to have all sorts of problems, looked like she had been rolling in mud. Her top hat looked like DRED LOCKS!!!! I brought her in and gave her a bath, when I was bathing her I saw MITES!!! AGAIN!!! She is pretty much the only one who gets mites, I don't know why. Anyways they were everywhere, all over her. I pulled off what mite eggs I could and cut half of her top hat off because of the dred locks. I put her under a heat lamp so she can dry off real good, then when she dries I'll put sevin dust on her, again.
Well, dealing with mites I had to take a shower and since I did it in our bathtub I had to scrub the bathtub with Tilex. I scrubbed the sink and tub and now here I sit in my pj's typing on the computer. Wow, what a day.
