What a little weirdo!

This 3 week old chick is already sprouting a big red comb. I have been confused since I goy him. He is either a cochin or a d'Uccle and I am unsure which he is. Any experts out there?

I have two that look just like that. One is a roo and the other a pullet. They are just 4 weeks old. Their dad was a Splash Cochin (LF) and their mom was a bantam Sultan. They have the biggest vulture hocks I have ever seen. Just in the last few days they are sprouting some mohawk hairdoos. Since Cochins shouldn't have vulture hocks I am guessing a D'Uccle. Oh and my baby boys comb is turning red too.

If the chick is purebred it is most likely a cochin...if it is a mix....I would say either a cochin cross or a brahma cross. Cute little guy. It is not a d'Uccle, d'Uccle babies have fuzz on the middle toe at hatch and their body style is different....here are some d'Uccle baby pics...They should be bearded and have a puffy cheek look
