Just moved 90 % of my chicks from their brooder to their grow out pen, don't know who was more stressed the Quail or me trying to get them out of my 3 GQF brooders was not easy ( so far the only thing I don't like about the brooders ). The Coturnix were doccile compared to the Bobs, I still have about 12 to 18 in one brooder to move, need to go to store tomorrow and get small bait net to catch the rest without them giving themselves a concussion from trying to fly straight up.
I'm going to think of how to put something up to the door and herd them into it maybe or something.
They were stunned after getting into the pens, too much room compared to the brooders I guess they just sat there for the most part.
