I went outside to look around again and now I am doing the
Since it had rained last night I needed to uncover the chicken tractor where the 7 chicks are, I have a dog crate being used as a house and the chicks like to roost on top of it, anyway while removing all the plastic to get the water off I have found the missing chick
seems the crate was too close to the sides and best I can figure is the chick had to have fallen off the crate and got stuck between crate and fencing!!!
All seems well for my missing chick!

But I still have a dead hen
Why is it you always loose the best hens 1st?
