Im raising 7 turkey poults, one chick, and 4 mallards. I let out the poults and chick today, and decided to let the mallards out too. They bolted. I had 4, and i caught 3 right away. One ran under my deck. So, i put the poults and chick away, and the mallards in a cage by the deck to lure the other lone mallard. Well, i heard him peeping. Luckily enough, my teen stature could fit under the deck, and i could hear the noise getting closer and closer. I was moving wood left and right! I then flashed the light up, and there he was, about 5 feet away. I shut it off and crept forward. Then i snatched him! I was so happy! I will make sure to have a cage next time i let them out!
