When I went out to feed my pullets this evening, I found my 1st egg from them.

.. A Black Commercial-Her 1st egg at 4 months-1 week old.

I didn't expect any eggs until about 22 to 26 weeks

Is this normal??

Yeah! Congrats . And I've heard of pullets laying at 14 weeks.

I wish mine would lay already! At 25 weeks I'm ready to squeeze the egg out myself. lol. It is such a shame a racoon just got my partidge silkie earlier. So gorgeous and would have laid any day now!!

Congrats, I am waiting I my girls at now at 19 weeks and I am getting impatient.

LOL I know the feeling. My first batch of chicks, I got a couple gold stars, just to keep me calm while waiting for the others to lay since they lay early - 16-17 weeks.
