What A Surprise!!!

I have 3 broody cochin bantams setting on egg right now. I went out to check them this morning and I lifted one of them up and there was a CHICK!! The other hen had 3 chicks and the other hen had smooshed an egg and the chick wasn't big enough to hatch yet and it died.

Then a few minutes later I went out there to check again and there was another chick and then I checked again in about 2 hours and there were 2 new chicks!! And one is still hatching!!! I'll have to go back out there and get pictures of the new ones that hatched!!!! Way to go BROODIES!!!!!!

This is a black & silver bantam. Any ideas on breed?

This is my favorite chick so far, it's very chubby and it's muffs are HUGE!

My mom thinks I should name it "Burl Ives"! LOL Any idea on breed? I'm gonna guess Buff Orpington X EE?
