What about dairy products? Yogurt, cheese, etc.

I've heard that feeding dairy to chickens is bad because they are "lactose intolerant." Thoughts?

My chicks were nursing on mama hen for 3 weeks with no problem. Just kidding. I've never given any dairy to my girls. But I've read on here of people giving yogurt and cottage cheese. I won't give any to mine. GC

I've given yogurt without issues in the past. Chickens seem to love it. It's not a daily treat by any means - a handful of times throughout the year, but I've never had a bird have an adverse reaction from it...
