I hope that someone can
give me an answer.
What can affect the growth of the comb in chicken? And how?
I'm especially thinking of a straight comb in rooster.
This year I hatched 15 male of black minorca (straight comb) and almost all have floppy comb.
I'm thinking if this can be affected by the environement or it's only genetics.
The breeder that give me the hatching eggs told me that normally 50% of the male have straight comb and the other male have floppy comb.
