What age do hens generally stop laying?

So, I have 13 hens, 11 which are laying. Five three-year-old Barred Rocks and six one-year-old White Leghorns. I'm obviously getting more white eggs than brown, but in last few days, I've only been getting a lot of white eggs, but no brown. I don't think my Barred Rocks are done laying, but, I was just wondering in general, when chickens stop laying. Thanks in advance.

As they age, they do slow down. Some of mine are 4 years old and still laying, perhaps not daily. I think it depends on the breed - it has been said that heritage lay longer than hatchery hens. I really don't have experience with that. If you want a continuous supply, I would suggest that you get some new chicks next year.

I certainly am! Hoping for some Black Australorps and Buff Brahmas. I think people prefer brown eggs over white when it comes to free-range eggs.
